Croquette of ground meat and steamed/boiled potatoes (Perkedel Daging)


Ingredients for the croquette:

750 g potatoes boiled/steamed, mashed

250 g ground beef

4 tablespoon fried shallot

2 tablespoon chopped celery

2 tablespoon all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground white pepper

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

3 egg yolk

3 egg white for coating

500 ml oil

Ingredient for spicy sweet soy sauce:

10 tablespoon sweet soy sauce

2 clove of shallot peeled, chopped

2-3 thai pepper, chopped

Cooking instructions:

  1. Mix all of the croquette’s ingredient’s
  2. Take a tablespoon of the dough and make into an oval shape
  3. Continue until the dough is finish
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan,
  5. Coat the dough in the egg white, and fry until golden
  6. Mix all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl
  7. Serve the croquette with the spicy sweet soy sauce
