Indonesian style corn ball (Dadar jagung)



2 corn cob, peeled and stripped

150 g all-purpose flour

2 stalk of spring onion, chopped

2 red chillies, thinly cut

2 egg

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground white pepper

½ teaspoon sugar


3 shallot

2 garlic clove

1 teaspoon coriander


Cooking instructions:

  1. Blend shallot, garlic and coriander in a food processor.
  2. Mix the spice paste, corn, flour, spring onion, red chillies, egg, white pepper, and sugar together in a bowl.
  3. Heat the oil.
  4. Take one spoon of the dough and fry until golden. Repeat until the dough is finished.
  5. Serve immediately.
